On the subject of antenna..

 I am used to the old Fuba's that had separate power lines from the
actual antenna connection.  

Grabbed a new one from a Jetta and it has no power connection.  I have been
told that the new one's have power through the one wire.  Is this correct?

If it is, any suggestions as to how to wire it into my system?  I don't want
to apply 12V to the antenna receptacle of the radio and watch it smoke...
