Re: Premature AC removal(questions)



Why not do it the EASY way. goto the junkyard and find a 1.8 that doesnt
have A/C. and pull the upper and lower braket. If ppl are too lazy to do
that I can go retrieve a few for $20.00 + shipping. or bring em to cincy.
It aint that hard. All you need is a 6mm allen head, 13mm short socket,
13mm wrench, knife, and large screwdriver. I have one right now and am
sending pictures etc to one of the listmembers so they know exactly what
they are getting. If it works for the 16v I will be checking to see if
other model VW's (like jettas) have the same brakets.
