foglight wiring

does anybody have any experiance wiring their own foglights in a scirocco? ive done it in the golf, but the scirocco is more cramped.  Any suggested route into the passenger compartment? i.e., behind teh fender, through teh firewall, or shood i jsut route it through a wire path already there?
