As purely a historical footnote of almost non-existant interest, the
oil cap on my current 16v is from my very first Scirocco, a 78 Mk1, and
I put it on every main Scirocco I drove since that 78.  After I got the
88 16v, it stopped migrating, but it's one of the only pieces of that
first car I still have.
