Re: cold starting aid (aka choke) location - MKII



AFAIK, very few, if any, MKIIs came with manual choke, unless you got an 
aftermarket weber conversion. Most came with either a pierburg 2B5 or a 2E2, 
both of which are automatic choke. My '82 1.6 had a 2B5.
If you have ETKA, I'd have a look in there - maybe some of the early 81/82 
1.5s had manual choke.
