you need a pickle fork!  You can rent one at almost any autozone-type place 
for free (need a deposit).  The pickle fork is a two-pronged fork, with big 
wedges for prongs.  You shove it in between the knuckle and the arm and bang 
on it until the sun goes down.  it will give you more buck for your bang 
so-to-speak than other pry-bars and hitting from most other angles.
