[Tech] Hatch Support Trick

Tired of your hatch not staying up? ;^)

Here's a trick, if you don't want to spend the money to replace them.

You simply bend the rod a little, and it creates enough friction that it
WILL hold the hatch open.

I just found this out last week from my friend "crash"...

I tried it on the Oddball Scirocco when I got the car home, and it works
beautifully.
I just bent the left hatch support and it is enough to keep the hatch up.

With the hatch open and the hatch support fully extended, you simply push

in the middle of the HS, with your palm, and bend it slightly. 

Btw, I'm not claiming this as MY trick, I'm just passing it on, and it
has already come in handy for me.
