I dont know if you have ever A) Been to an autox and B) if so, have seen
the Miata's who have the little tiny trailers just to haul their race
tires?? 

They're rated at like, 500lbs which is more than what your after. I think
this would be a better route and in the long run, cheaper and less
painful on your back. I dont think there is a roof rack rated at 180lbs?
Is there? Thats alot of weight! Anyways, think about a small trailer, I
think you will be happier with it in the long run.
