There used to be a meat packing plant up the road from my parents, and they
had several semis that they used to transport the meat.  One night there
were a couple of guys from Gary (about an hour NW of us) who siphoned some
fuel out of one of the trucks directly into their gas tank.  At the time,
you couldn't buy gas after about 10 or 11 in such a small town, and the
nearest 24-hour station was probably about 30 miles NW.  I don't think they
made it more than a few feet before their car died.

At least with the Rabbit there's a chance you'll get gas out of the tank.
