I ran the diff kit (Back when it was "Velocity stage 2 diff kit" before
Peloquin hor'd the kits out.) on my 82 and on my GLi. P/S on the GLi and
non P/S on the Roc. Steering effort isn't even closely effected like the
addition of the quaife. Even still, its not like you cant park the car or
maneuver thu any slow speed area. I wouldn't worry about it.
Now, if Peloquin were really honest with their customers,
(She-yaah-right!) they would tell you to not use the kit on a lowered
suspension car with 90mm drive flanges. Ask ME, Potterman and a few
others why this is a bad thing. You don't want to find about it yourself.
Oh, as do ask them about that problem the kit has, I bet they say nothing
of the subject, the prix.
"Manual steering is NOT recommended".............indeed!
