In both the 8V and 16V Mk2 that I have had, the mirror surface on the side
mirrors has oxidized around the sides and it looks pretty bad.
Is there an inexpensive way to get new mirror surfaces? All the junkyard
mirrors that I have seen also have the same problem, so that doesn't seem to
be a solution.
Any ideas?
