Repainting Bumpers

Has anyone ever just repainted the original bumpers
any color than the origianl (i'm pretty much talking
about 16V's and probably painting them glossy black)

My front bumper is chipping a lil bit and it has a
whole in it from the accident it was in b4 i got it
and euro bumpers are a lil out of my league at least
for now.  So i was thinkin of painting the bumpers
black on my tornado red scirocco.  What is the offical
name for the black painted 'Roccos?  Or does anyone
have any certain types of blacks that look really
good?

I don't want to seem like a "poser" at all.  The car's
paint is exceptional for its 13 yr of life in MASS. 
But if i painted the bumpers the original red now,
they would stick out too much.  I'm a professional car
detailer so i am really picky about the cosmetics of
my car.  

Would anyone like to share their wisdom
