Re: cv's interchangable from auto/manual tranny?




A 92 Jetta automatic would most likely use 100mm flanges.  TN code
automatics used 90 mm flanges, TNA used 100 mm flanges.  I belive the TN
code box was only used up until 1989(?)

Although VW lists separate part numbers for automatic axle assemblies (ie
c/w CV's) I'm not sure what the differences are.  The joints (inner and
outer) are the same 5 speed/automatic for sure.
