  how in depth do you want to get. easiet way it to remove the rear
brake hoses, drop and remove the rear beam, disconnect everything from
the tank (transfer pump under rear seat important), and remove the bolts
holding it in place. it'll take an hour to an hour and a half. easiest
thing is to make sure that it can be performed under recall (then you
don't have to do the work!). i did this on a parts car and get to swap
that one to the one on my '86 8v this coming week.
