This will work fine on your 2.0l.

Yep, the cross flow heads are hydro. Something tells me that the stems are
too long and need to be shortened. The metal is so tough, though, that it
takes an awfully long time to do. Call Techtonics about this process. I
think they realized some gains but consider it too much of a PITA to do for
everybody. Btw, another trick that you could possibly pull is to run the
Corrado G60 exhaust valve which is sodium-filled. This keeps the valve
cooler and thus reduces the motor's tendency to detonate. Honestly, though,
these measures aren't really necessary for street use... Just plop that
(ported or stock) JH head on top and be done with it.
