On a similar topic, but a little more positive...

Early on Sunday I bought a t-shirt from Brett and left it laying up by the hood
signing area for six to eight hours. When I was about the leave I remembered
setting it down up that way in order to take some pictures. When I got back up
there it was still there, and someone even hung it up! This was after a *LONG*
time and I was away doing the rally that afternoon too!

I was very impressed with the honesty of everyone in attendance. I'm sure I
speak for everyone when I say that we all hope you get compensated for these
parts Daun!

A couple things turned up missing after the get-together. 
First, the taillights off the '85 parts car - I do not
remember being paid for them.  (Yes, they were up for
grabs, but not free)  If my memory is faulty, drop me an
e-mail to straighten me out.

Also, the door striker pins in the '80 parts car got
swapped with the ones from the '87, and the '80 ones
disappeared.  The '80 strikers were the old style that do
not have the plastic bushing.  I intended to keep these for
myself.

At this point I don't care WHO took the stuff, but I'd
appreciate it if you'd at least throw a little $$$ my way. 
It's things like this that make it difficult to continue to
host this thing, 'cuz one or two people's actions end up
ruining it for everyone.  I guess maybe next year I'll have
to not have any parts cars available and keep the barn
locked up.  Too bad if someone needs something that needs
pulled off a car, 'cuz I won't have time to do it.
