Re: Wanted: Short Shift Kit
I installed one in my 16v a month or so again, and I must say Im rather disappointed in
it. I put in all new bushings and rods too while I was in there.. The shifter still is
vague and sloppy and the throw is not a ton better. I only have it on the middle
setting, Ill move it up more later to try. 2nd gear still practically hits the seat, and
I have to unbuckle my seatbelt to reach for 5th.. (ok slight exageration, but you know
where Im going with this) ;-)
If I were to do it again, I woudnt bother.
