Just got into this with my Mk1. I painted it with some Krylon spray
paint- it has a yellow hard hat on it, meant for industrial uses I
suppose. Not the Rustolium version, just heavy duty paint. It's a gloss
black and I have sprayed several coats. (unfortunately) I did so in a
hurry while working the car for the abortive Cincy run (and on a windy
day) and so have orange peel and such which need a little smoothing
before a top coat.
Other than my own messing up, the product looks good, and seems durable.
Having a flex agent in the paint might be a good idea.
