I just pulled the booster off of an '88 Scirocco...
It was easy with a practically empty engine compartment. <G>

It has 4 - 13mm nuts holding it to the booster bracket.

I used both my 13mm combination, a shorty and a regular one.
It takes a little bit of time, but it's not that bad...
