diagnosing bad wheel bearing?

Hi,
can someone remind me what the script is for diagnosing which front wheel 
bearing is worn, i.e. noise reduces when turning in direction X = faulty 
bearing Y - I can never remember which way round it is. Mine seems to get 
quieter on right hand turns.
