wheel offset questions

ok, im about to get the original wheels for the rieger, well, a new set of
them at least. i want to be sure about all this offset crap before i put in
my order, since they will be making the wheels to my specs.

1. what is the exact spec (incl offset) for oem original scirocco 16v
wheels? all i know is 14x6 and theres a 'j' in there somewhere.
2. what the heck does the 'j' mean exactly, does it correspond to a specific
distance offset? i think i've heard of 'jj' some time back as well.
3. if all this 'j' stuff has noting to do with the offset distance, then
what is the exact offset???

thanks for whatever info you guys can provide, im off to dig around the .org
site, may be something in the tire size page thingy.
