i know i am new here and i am sure you guys know how fast your cars are, but 
i had a little run in tonight.  i got an 87 16v stock(220K)
and i raced my friends bran new 2001 jetta with what ever six they put in it 
now, but 5 spds.  i took him by a whole car length, hands down no arduement 
or excuse blew the doors off him.  i always figured he was a better stick 
driver then me, but i am leaving it to the car tonight.  i love my new toy.
