Check the choke.. they usually don't work. Mine has just been calibrated..makes A LOT of difference! It ran at 7 times more choke than it should...
If it's an electric choke, try to check if the wires are ok...they live in a harsh environment!
Check if it has an electronic ignition...the non electric suffers from bad contacts because of water and rust = cut outs!
