brake booster/master cylinder 8v vs. 16v

 can anyone tell me if a 16v master cylinder will fit
on my 80S or do i have to use the 16v booster too?.I
have a 16v parts car,but I only want to swap in the
booster if there is some advantage or nessecity.Ive
already swapped fr. & rear brakes. TIA
