Are you taking about the console bulb that is on the Heating unit (sorry I 
don't know what HVAC means), hard to pull out ? could it be glued in by 
Previous owner, cause it should come right out from the heating panel.

now if you are asking how to remove the little light bulb fom the bulb 
socket holder, well you don't unless you want to un-solder the tiny legs of 
the bulb (biatch to do) the whole assembly bulb-socket unit can be bought at 
your local VW dealer for like 2.50$ (and that is canadian)
so don't waste time soldering, get a new one, Oh yeah the new ones, the bulb 
comes out of the socket (guess people bitched about that details before)

The lighted HVAC display piece?  Can you replace the bulb in it, and if so,
where do I get it?  I nearly broke it trying to replace it.  It doesnt want
to come out.  Can anyone help me on this one?
