humpyomamma,
    I replaced all of my lines with the plain rubber ones available at the 
local auto store.  it is very easy to do.  I did not replace the hard plastic 
ones though cuz i figured they were hard plastic for a reason. I tested them 
to make sure they were good though. good luck
