Shining up manifold??

My Manifold has been powdercoated for quite a while now and want to shine the section
that has the 16v DOHC writing on it....I am guessing I start with coarse grit to get the
powdercoat off and then move my way to fine to get it to shine afterwards but would like
to hear this from someone else who has done it....thanks
