Re: Oil Pan



I would probably get a tap and die set and tap the oil
pan with the next size up.  I'd get an oversized plug
at any of the serve yourself part stores and screw it
into the newly threaded hole.  I remember that there
used to be some rubber plug that you could shove into
a stripped pan.  They sold it at Canadian Tire many
years ago, and I tried to use it in a motorcycle of
mine which had a stripped threads in the engine's
case.  It didn't work because the drain plug hole was
too small in that motorcycle.  The point is, it would
probably work but it wouldn't be all that satisfactory
because it could just fall out on its own.
