I guess you might have missed the point of the discussion.....
We already found out earlier that Sciroccos were produced in Germany. :-)

BTW the "K" in the VIN-Code stands for "Osnabrueck"
this is the town where Karmann is located in Germany.
All Sciroccos were produced there, even the so called "Wolfsburg" editions.
