Feedback on Dash Caps; Front bearing tool; Evans coolant?
Wondering what people's experiences have been about some interesting
products which were brought up in the past and never mentioned again.
1. Dash Caps <www.dashcaps.com> to cover cracked dashes to give a near new
appearance. They have Mk.1 covers listed ($87) but no photo. There was
supposedly a letter writing campaign to entice them to make covers for
Mk.2s. Any experience with this product?
2. Harbor Freight front bearing tool
<http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=45210>. I
vaguely remember a couple of people saying that they had ordered the tool.
Does it work? Worth getting?
3. Evans non aqueous coolant. Supposedly reduces pre-detonation causing
hot spots as well as curing cancer. <http://www.evanscooling.com/> Anyone
actually try some out?
I'm sure there are many more. Feedback, please. Thanks, benton----
