Have you considered the Nology setup.
Some like it, some don't.
When I installed them on my 1.9 8V, I noticed a difference.
I am not "totally" sure it is the Nology setup because I installed Beru
Silverstone (indexed) plugs, 16V coil and new cap and rotor at the same
time.
I try to keep my components in optimal condition, and the parts that were
replaced were in good working order so I believe it was the Nology wires and
coil amplifier that gave me the improvement.
Before:
Power would flatten out about 6200rpm.
Never went over about 6500rpm
Now:
Power up to 6800rpm
Have taken her to 7K twice (once to ~7150rmp) 8^O
This is definitely proof to me that they (Nology setup) work.
