ok, if that high speed switch was stuck, your fan would be on high even with the a/c off (its off of
ignition, not a/c). what might be bad is the high pressure a/c switch. if pressure builds up too
much in the system the switch is supposed to turn the fan on high (it normally only runs low with
the a/c on). This same high speed switch keeps the fan on high after shutting off the engine (if the
a/c was on), typically on a hot day, where the system builds up the most pressure. this is different
than the temp switch on the head that turns on the fan (low) if the engine is hot after shutting it
off.
