carbs on 16v?

Anyone run carbs on a 16v motor?

I'm considering this, and just wanted some opinions.  any problems people
have had with getting it to work?  I know carbs have to be adjusted all the
time and such, fuel pump and lines will probably have to be changed, but
what else is there to it?  can I still use a knock sensor without the F.I.?
