You are right Brett, it is just a Piston difference.  I had a JH with RD
pisons and a g-grind.  That motor ran like a raped ape till it spun a rod
bearing.  Chucked it in favor of the hydro-head JH from an 88 Cabriolet.
It was a dissapointing change, let me tell you.
