[A2 Rear Disk Brakes] They might be binding

Wondering if I can recover a rear disk caliper that might be binding
(that old e-brake frozen thing I think). OR do I write it off after
checking it out.

I'm going to change the oil in a few and rotate the tires on this new to
me parts car- an A2 GTI. [Shhh, don't tell her I'm parting her out... ;]

The reason I think there might be trouble is the groaning noise I hear
when I am in reverse.
