When I put in a 3.94, I decided on the .75 for exactly your reasons. If
you use the gear calculator on scirocco.org, you'll find that the
drop on a 3.67/.80 combo is similar to a 3.94/.75 combo. This seemed
right in line with what I wanted. It turns out to actually be a bit
bigger then I expected, but I was really used to using 5th around town
as merely a slightly taller 4th. :) Can't really do that with the .75.
