Hi Patrick, welcome to the list.

I just ran a Carfax check on your VIN, came back with one interesting
result.. the odometer reading was reported at 44,290 on 8/9/89. Next report
wasn't until almost 9 years later, 7/27/98, and the mileage had only advanced
to 69,973.  23k miles in 9 years?  Hmm...

Nothing else negative came up on the report - no salvage title, etc.  The
car has been in Texas its entire "life" - originally registered on 2/20/85
in Spring, TX.   :D
