Re: Coolant Loss

This is just my situation, but I lose the equivalent of the coolant
reservoir every week, driving on a daily basis (I do have the heat on).
Following my engine seal blowout, I noted by coolant is a nice shade of
diarrhea brown (evidence of coolant mixing w/ oil).  That signals a
headgasket leak.  Whether that could be your case or not, I don't know.  If
the heater core is leaking, the old diagnosis for most cars is that you can
smell the coolant in your car.

Don't want to be the bearer of any bad news, but just to say...
