Cold start troubles [tech]
My car has been working great in cold weather. Even at below zero, the
starter would not even turn the crank once and the thing would fire up better
than ever.
Recently, it has not been doing this. It will crank over for about 2 sec.
before it fires up. Needless to say, I liked it better before!
I pulled the cold start injector out, set a rag in front of it, and cranked
the engine. It sprayed fuel just fine. Before I did this, the car fired
right up as it should. The temp was about 20 degrees out.
I put some injector cleaner in the last tank of gas. Could particles of dirt
have clogged the cs valve temporarily?
This is strange.
TIA
