Re: Shift linkage scraping / Poly A-arm bushings
The rubbing usually accurs on the exhaust manifold. When you replace the
small bushings in the shift linkage, you should also replace the larger
bushing that is in the verticle rod, plus the bushing that goes into the
shaft from the shifter (make sure you mark where you take the shaft out of
the verticle rod!, or have a alignment tool handy). HTH!!
