Re: More on CIS Fuel problems/questions
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but, even though you hear the pump
running it may be bad. The easiest way to check the pump is by
disconnecting the fuel line going into the fuel filter. Then bridge the fuel
pump relay for a coupla seconds and see if fuel squirts out. I had the same
problem with my rocco. I thought that the fuel pump was good since I heard
it running. However, upon disconnecting the above fuel line, no fuel was
being sent to the fuel filter. Hence, fuel pump was fuct. As soon as I
replaced it, the story ends just like a fairy tale. The car ran great but
the fuel lines decided to srping a leak. lol!
