no spark on my 84?

Since my 80 is toast for now, i'm trying to get my 84 going. i got
everything done except for the cooling and i can't get no spark. it's an
electronic unit. is there any test procedures i can do? i even got a whole
differant harness and coil that works. but still no spark. i dunno.. thanks
