Re: Velocity diff kit (was a bunch of other 16V transaxle crap)



Here's what I've heard from Potterman.

There is a clearance problem with the "Stage II" kits when using them with a
90 mm CV joint. Eventually one side (I don't remember which) will make
contact with the bolt from the kit and start backing itself out. There is no
problem with using this kit with the 100 mm CV's. I'm using it and really
like the performance for the price.

So the rule is, use the stage I kit if you have 90 mm CV's, even though
Velocity says you can use the stage II kit.
