Fun in the snow -- then Smash.

Just (almost) completed an 850K TSD Rally in Interior BC (30th T-bird rally), and my Yokohama Guardex 600's kept me on the icy/snowy/muddy roads really well, even with the front ones half bald.  However I DID go off the road and destroy 1 rim and control arm, but that was after I cracked a joke to my navigator and cockily took an icy hairpin at 60Kph.  Shitty, because I was in first place novice before it happened.

if you're interested, the results are @ www.rallybc.com under the 30th thunderbird rally results page.  Car #53, first car with over 1000 points.

There was another 84-86 8v Scirocco participating, but they did a little off-roading and slipped a couple of notches on their timing belt.  Too bad.

I'm currently working on a Webpage, and should have a video of my smash.  Nothing's ready yet, but will keep listies posted...

Subject: Not so fun in the snow.

Dunlop Sport 8000's really suck in the snow!

That's all I have to say at this point in time.
