I really didn't want to contribute to this stupid thread, but am starting to 
feel a bit insulted.  Jonas, I have read your posts for a couple of years 
now, you seem to have knowledge and answer questions. I know you have a 
handicap that makes typing difficult, but you must understand newcomers to 
the list don't know this, and are only joking when they talk about it.  Why 
can't you learn to laugh at yourself with them, and have fun.  And where you 
get off insulting members of this list, calling us lemmings and telling us 
we are idiots for not going to the garage and fixing our own cars on our 
own, I don't know.  My scirocco, is my only car.  If something breaks, I 
need it fixed fast, correctly, and at a good price.  I would love to build 
engines, experiment, break things, and fix them.  But I can't do that now 
due to time and money, and need for a car (not to mention, no garage at all 
when I am away at school).  And I think many people on this list are in a 
similiar situation.

Just because many of us are not your personal friend, don't own 7 cars, 
don't race them, or build them, does not make us incompentent lemmings.  We 
all love these cars, that is what we have in common.  If you can't support 
this love over varying skill levels, expertise, experience and age, then 
you, sir, must not participate.
