Those things rarely ever go bad BUT, on the whim (and to prove that your
stock unit is good/bad) go ahead and replace it. Pay attention to the
little copper washers on both sides of the banjo bolts. Without them you
will have a leak.
The 81 does have a larger air flow meter plate and it is entirely
possible to use that air flow meter plate and just swap over the fuel
distributor. Its a little more work but do'able.
