the way teh gears are they are reverse cut, they
whine like an sob.....
the advantage no syncros you do get a bit of a
grind, if yoiu ware lo9okign for the sequenbtial 6 speed dog engament you are
lookingaround 17K for the total package, cause you cant just get away with buy
the box tehy will have you get otherthigns so it will work, as for the regualr
dog bax, you can buy it.... but i would only recommend it if you are
racing,...............

responsde to this in the first place to explain it, but hten agian that is why

I look into the transmission and it's made by
quife. It's a straight shift transmission and u only have to use the
clutch to take it out of neutral and to downshift.

Subject: Unknown transmission
scirocco
I recently was in a talk about a 1986 VW
scirocco I buying next week and I friend told me there is a transmission
for a scirocco that has no syncros in it so u can change gears with out
the clutch. if course u have to use the clutch to put it into
reverse and into first gear but when u are shifting through the gears u
don't. If anyone has info on the transmission please give me some
insight on it and the price of it.
