That's what happened to me immediately after an oil
change with 10W-40, the buzzer would kick in around
2,300 RPM and wouldn't shut up until I dropped below
that RPM. I changed out the oil pressure switches to
no avail, heard it might be low oil pressure due to my
engine having 150,000+ miles on it, and also heard
something could be wrong with the circuit board on the
instrument cluster(supposedly a common problem).
I talked to a VW dealer mechanic about it and he said
to drain it and refill with 30W or a 20w-50, I put
some SynPower Valvoline 20W-50 in and haven't heard
the buzzer since.
