I don't know who that was, but A3 relay shaft bushings will fit a stock
A1 relay shaft.
Instead of a flexible rubber material that quickly wears out, these are
made of a hard white plastic.

I used them on my GTI, they are better than the A1 bushings, but the TT
short shift does not fit them.
Cheap too, they're less than $3 for 2...
