Chris,
I've done the swap using the original fuse box.
Initially, I was gonna use the 16V sheit but once I started working on it, there
was something like 4 wires to be connected at the fusebox. I'd have to go
over the notes I made. By following the wire diagrams of both cars you
will have no problemos in sketching in the 16V system into the 8V sheit.

Hi Chris,
I know that Craig Williams had this done and others...I choose to use the
entire wiring harness, including an updated fusebox fron the Scirocco 16v
mostly because I am eletronically challanged and it avoids "looming-in" one
harness to another. I saw a complete wiring harness on JWelty's site today
that was only $125.00 and it included the fuel distributor and brain box!You
might consider doing this also.
